Faith in Southgate

What once was a bustling trade city of several thousand has dwindled to maybe 500-600, huddling in the crumbling infrastructure that they no longer have the coin or manpower to maintain. There were once several denominations in town set up to proselytize the many travelers coming and going, but since then many of them have left their churches and edifices bare and empty. The one remaining church is that to Tulis, goddess of liberation, nobility, protection, and strength. The devout of Tulis have done good for the town but alas, their numbers and power waned as the town itself did. There are several acolytes remaining to tend the church and its followers, but no true clerics remain and so its days, it seem, are numbered.
